Yeah im ****in sick of it too. Sick of your server crashes Sick of the bullshi* you give me when i ask for a reimbursment because your server just lost me something that took me weeks to accumulate.
Your server is ****in terrible.
In fact CCP your just ****in pants tbh and i think i deserve some reimbursement for my real life hard earned cash.
Ruby2hoes - Not a ****in alt either.
aint that the truth.
maybe if they would just keep the server down and fix whatever it is that keeps crashing it. everything would be ok.
A minor setback in internet spaceships is worth it for the forum hilarity.

You die. So does your ship. And your mods. And your drones. And your can gets left in deadspace, in the middle of nowhere. And the flashback sets your hangar on fire too.

Exactly. I'd like clarification on the same thing. I have budgetted entertainment, and if what I pay for isn't entertaining me, then yeah, I need to find something new.
This thread is entertaining for sure...:) Btw if server were down for 2 days i never would cancel my subscription..thats the best game on market...doesnt matter how its running after an patch
patches are supposed to fix things, not to mess up everything ..
Welcome to real life.
Where even the best planned changes, patches and upgrades, sometimes go unutterably wrong in subtle ways.

And I, the great prophet Buxaphet predict that whenever said server crash happens, the tinfoil hat brigade will place thy blame on thy Bobbitses.
Because we all know BoB NEVER suffer from lag!
ps, Shootme, leave those nuubs in Ibis's alone will ya they don't mean ya no harm
Proof from the horses mouth!
Once, I heard that BoB all goes to London, and plugs directly into the server. And if they're losing, they simply take a hammer to that particular node.
Oh, and they abduct cats and drink their blood too........
Proof from the horses mouth
Yeah, I know, I know, but that post _made_ me do it.

As for compensation, CCP has stated several times that they will not provide compensation for minor unscheduled downtimes. Nor will they provide compensation for longer planned downtimes. Should there be a multi-day unplanned downtime, I would expect CCP to revise that policy.
I'm sure this is the case, but like the phone companies don't want to give you conmpensation when they can't provide you with a phone... similarly, CCP can't pretend they are anything other than a service provider and they are failing to provide their service.
I also don't think that the EULA concept has yet been proven in a court to actually hold water.
All I'm saying is I want to play the game, and if that means some PVP against the investors or owners or whatever the corporate makeup of CCP is..
These downtimes provide the fuel. A high-profile article in PC Gamer would provide the lighting fluid.
Phone companies are regulated, and at the end of the day you _can_ cancel your phone line.
EVE is not regulated, and IMO pretty unique. But you can still cancel your sub if you want.
I remain a fanboy, and ... well, at the end of the day, if EVE's down for a week, I'll sob a bit over lost SPs, and then go do something else with my life instead. Like go to the pub, and talk about EVE.
I don't like there being downtime, but at the end of the day, so what? I care about downtime on the stuff that makes my life really really bad, like not having fresh water, or no shower.
